The History of the Highland
Originally from the Scottish highlands, highland cattle are a hearty breed that can withstand many a storm. They evolved from the "Bos Longifrons" and the "Bos Primigenius." The highland is one of the oldest breeds of cattle known to exist, and, as such, has a long legacy. A legacy that we at Kacherie Farms have worked hard to maintain. We offer naturally raised cattle who have been worked with from a young age to ensure manageability and friendliness.
